Because I am a strawberry lover and Leo is a die-heart chocolate lover, I made both strawberry and chocolate smoothies this morning.
These recipes are pretty quick.
Strawberry Smoothie Ingredients:
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 frozen banana (ripe banana)
- 1/4 cup coconut butter
- 1 cup cashew milk
Place ingredients in high-speed blender, blend until smooth.
Serve in small to medium-sized bowls with optional toppings of choice. For a more traditional smoothie, serve in a glass with a few of the optional topping.
Chocolate Smoothie Ingredients:
- 2 frozen bananas (ripe banana for sweetness)
- 2 tablespoon almond butter
- 2 tablespoon cacao
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup almond or cashew milk
Place ingredients in high-speed blender, blend until smooth.
Serve in small to medium-sized bowls with optional toppings of choice. For a more traditional smoothie, serve in a glass with a few of the optional topping
