I often get feedback from my husband Leo on the recipes that I cook; believe me, mac and cheese is not one of his favorite dishes, but this dish was a hit.
This cayenne mac and cheese is made with vegan mild cheddar cheese and cayenne pepper to taste. You can use Daiya cheese, it is dairy and soy free. Also, it’s 0mg of cholesterol.
The texture is creamer than your typical mac and cheese. You will enjoyed this recipe!
Add additional shredded cheese on top before serving. it will give it a more cheesy taste for those cheese lovers.
Ingredients:
Macaroni, cashew milk, vegan butter, spicy mustard, cayenne pepper to taste, pepper and sea salt. Cook in baking dish. When done add more cheese.
